Lake District Hotel accommodation
The Lake District has many hotels of varying prices to choose
from, they also vary in which facilities they have available.
Some have leisure and beauty facilities on their grounds, while
others will offer free membership vouchers to leisure facilities
close by.
A boutique
lake district hotel could offer facilities like private out-door
hot tubs, relaxing lounge areas with large windscreen TVs, with
satellite channels, DVDs, CDs, various styled quality king-size
beds, luxury bathrooms with large aqua spa massage bath for two
people, power showers and saunas. All the modern facilities to
make your stay a very relaxing one.
Some Cumbria
hotels will offer breakfast as well as supper, while others might
just offer breakfast. All the hotels in the Lake District try
and use the local produce, which normally consists of bacon, sausage,
black pudding, beans, tomato, toast and egg (either scambled,
poached or fried). If you are vegetarian, this should be mentioned
when you make your booking and the hotel will try and accommodate
where possible.
So if you
are thinking of having a very relaxing holiday in the Lake District,
and would prefer all the modern facilities and to be waited on,
then choosing a hotel would be the better option. Many hotels
also offer dry cleaning/laundry services, 24 hour reception and
conference facilities.
